I'm Every Woman

The Women & Teen Retreat was absolutely amazing! We would like to think all of our donors, partners, teenagers, healthcare agencies, speakers, panelists volunteers, Lakeview center staff, and a participants who attended. This year retreat was designed to bring more resources on business, careers, and healthcare resources.

We also had Dr. Heather Clark, Texas A&M, come to conduct a community conversation session so that we can know what the community wants going forward. That evaluation will help guide us in writing our strategic plans for 2024 through 2027. In 2023 our theme, “BELIEVE”, helped us to achieve our goals and objectives, because we believe that without the Lord in our plans, our goals cannot be achieved. So in 2024, building on our belief, our theme will be “FAITH.” We will have two panels instead of three and those panels include business careers, focusing on all of the new things in technology, like artificial intelligence, and how social media is going to drive business in the future. We will also have healthcare resources and give you more time to ask questions.
