Now accepting charitable donations in Morris County, TX

It can sometimes be difficult to find concrete ways to help your community. Making charitable donations might be a good first step. Many of us have more than what we need, and it feels good to give back to the community.

Morris County Collaborative is a non-profit organization based in Morris County, TX that's dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community. Call today to learn how something as simple as clothing donations can help make the world a better place.

We are a tax-exempt 501c3 organization and can provide you a Letter of Determination from the Internal Revenue Service.

Help us help Morris County

The Morris County Collaborative addresses growing and complex societal issues such as:

  • Job creation
  • Childcare
  • Food and nutrition
  • Formerly incarcerated re-entry
  • Homelessness
  • Youth development
  • Drug addictions
  • Community health care
  • Natural disasters
  • Terrorism

To do this effectively, we need your help.

We also accept:

  • Houses/housing - We need facilities for recreation, meetings, classes, and events. Additionally, we’re in great need of houses to serve as shelters for single mothers, the homeless, and those who are transitioning to life after incarceration.
  • Clothing - Clothing is a basic need that’s often overlooked, but without proper clothing, children face difficulties at school, adults are held back from job opportunities, and the elderly suffer without basic provisions.
  • School supplies - An estimated 2,800 local children under 18 live in poverty. Donations of school supplies and backpacks help them attend class, improve their grades, and develop skills for better opportunities. Donations to MCC also help youth purchase supplies for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math projects (known as STEAM projects).
  • Food and food bank facilities - Most people in poverty run out of food before each month ends. Your donation of food and kitchen supplies helps families to meet one of their basic needs to remain healthy, happy, and productive.
  • Gift cards
  • Money
  • In-kind donations

We are a 501(c)3 Tax Exempt Organization.
